Your hair grows in phases of activity and rest and it’s normal to lose up to 50-100 hairs a day.
The Catagen phase is next, this is when the base of the follicle begins to reduce in size and it only lasts a few weeks
The Telogen phase is the resting period, about two to four months, your follicles shrink even more.
Return to Anagen phase, this is when your old hair is dislodged and falls out so your new hair can grow in its place.
That’s a healthy head of hair, now let’s look at why you’ve lost your hair.
